Job Description

Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• Leads and directs department employees in the absence of the foreperson/supervisor.
• Trains all new personnel.
• Monitors productivity and quality.
• Assists co-workers in performing department tasks.
• Assists in completion of reports (time cards, work hour reports, placement of chicks, etc.)
• Other work duties as requested by supervisor (i.e. hand out supplies, etc.)

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English. (BI-lingual English/Spanish very helpful).
• Able to communicate with internal and external areas of company.
• Ability to work with no supervision and be self motivated.
• Must be able to direct people and meet pre-determined schedule.
• Ability to work in wet and dusty (chick down) environment.
• Must adhere to disease control policies.
• Must complete and pass pallet jack training course.
