We seek a lead pricing professional to help accelerate growth on the HCE portfolio. This individual will be responsible for helping execute HCE's monetization strategy and pricing tactics, including identification & execution of pricing insights, working cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and other Strategic Business Group pricing practitioners on list pricing, deal desk, and pricing operations. The position requires the ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems and to collaborate.

The lead pricing professional for HCE will own pricing analytics and processes. This individual will play an integral role in inspiring a high-performance and feedback culture. They will collaborate with business and functional leadership of HCE, ensuring pricing plans are implemented correctly and efficiently. The HCE lead pricing professional will be responsible for analyzing pricing trends, conducting competitive analysis, and developing B2B pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.

This position will report to the HCE Pricing Director and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute pricing strategies to achieve or exceed committed performance
  • Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations ensuring effective change management
  • Collaborate with other teams such as marketing and product management to align pricing decisions with overall business strategy
  • Maintain, develop, and present timely and accurate KPI reporting for HCE
  • Communicate pricing decisions, and perform ad hoc pricing analysis for internal stakeholders
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather market intelligence to inform HCE pricing decisions
  • Analyze pricing trends and identify opportunities to develop pricing models and strategies for price optimization that drives organic revenue growth and margin expansion
  • Monitor and report on pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on HCE pricing-related matters
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve pricing issues across various CRM, CPQ, and ERP systems
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional team to share best practices, foster effective collaboration, and drive business outcomes
  • Enhance/automate the Management Operating System (MOS) to provide accurate, fast data for business decision support
  • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of SaaS pricing developments
  • Work independently, collaborate effectively, and manage numerous priorities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience with proven B2B pricing strategies, tactics, and techniques such as value-based pricing, segmentation, list price increases, and discount controls
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with key stakeholders within product marketing, general management, and sales

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, marketing finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of SaaS pricing strategies & packaging best practices
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, P&L, and their drivers of success

  • Strong ownership mindset, with proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Familiar and comfortable with large complex matrix organizations; success in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Bias for action, results oriented, strong process improvement mindset (change agent)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PROS, and SAP systems
  • Familiarity with Tableau and PowerApps/PowerBI
  • Minimum of 1 year Project Management experience
