HCM DATA INTEGRATION MANAGER

Position Title: HCM Data Integration Manager

Position Description:

The position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing HCM integration technologies as well as assisting in the ongoing development of best practices for data movement, data quality, and data cleansing related activities. He/she promotes consistent use of HR (Human Resources) and Payroll related associate data across the business and is involved in assuring smooth day-to-day operations of the system.

Relationships:

Part of the HCM Operations Support Team; reports directly to the Assistant Director, HCM Operations. This position will partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Financial Accounting, MIT, and other relevant departments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation and support of HCM data integrations to meet internal customer (HR, Payroll, Financial Accounting, and Budget) specific processes and solutions.
• Lead role in assuring appropriate OM/PA/Payroll integration.
• Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects problems and deficiencies related to HR/Payroll/FI data integrations to ensure the validation and seamless flow of data.
• Lead role in researching alternate solutions, and making recommendations associated with the development, testing and implementation of integrated solutions.
• Lead in monitoring SAP patch releases and coordinating implementation and testing
• Conducts HR/Payroll system integration testing, participates in user acceptance testing, and conversion for all SAP HCM related integrations.
• Acts as a key participant in HCM project teams to provide guidance in data integration related tasks.
• Key player in assisting with testing efforts during HCM mid-year and year-end SAP/update efforts.
• Assists in new acquisitions to ensure a smooth data transition
• Maintain project artifacts and documentation throughout integration process, including integrated data dictionary.
• Responsible for facilitating and performing mass updates
• Provide functional expertise for HCM system issues. Make recommendations towards resolution.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working with SAP HCM is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with SAP FI/BPC is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access/Excel is required.
• Bachelor's degree (HR, IT, Business) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience with data migration/integration is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, autonomy and maturity while working with customers across various levels of the organization.
• Skilled in problem identification and analysis; able to think critically to manage competing priorities in a complex environment. High level of thoroughness and accuracy.
