HCM OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Job Description
Key Objectives:
- Support Montefiore SAP HCM system users as tier 1 support troubleshooting employee master data and system issues.
- Maintain HCM documentation as a result of but not limited to, new company initiatives, workflow forms, and system enhancements.
- Ensure the Personnel Administration and Organizational Management modules meet client needs through basic configuration.
- Create functional specifications for technical enhancements to the system and its processes.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Direct support of HCM system end users via HCM hotline and HCM mailbox
- Assisting with system testing as needed
- Working closely with the HR Compensation team to ensure that all positions are assigned the correct job attributes; working closely with the Budget/Finance teams to ensure that all budgeted positions are correctly identified and maintained in SAP; working closely with HR team to resolve HCM master data issues.
- Monitoring automated workflow processes to ensure all Employee Action/Positions Control processes are functioning properly and resolving any issues that occur
- Working with HR and Security to ensure appropriate access to HR and financial information is granted to system users as well as assisting with troubleshooting user issues
- Running scheduled and ad hoc reports as needed
- Providing functional expertise for HCM issues and making recommendations towards resolution.
- Facilitating and performing mass updates of organizational and personnel related data.
- Running HR report queries, analyze HCM master data, and present findings to HR/business leadership as requested.
Reports to the Manager HCM Operations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources Management, Computer science or related field preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of Experience with HCM solutions such as SAP, PeopleSoft or Oracle application is required. SAP HCM is strongly preferred.
- Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and work well with individuals, and in group settings with all levels of the organization.
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
