HCM Senior IT Engineer

Mission Summary

The ideal candidate will be able to simultaneously act as the face of IT, and provide world-class customer service to our stakeholders, HRIS team, and end users. The Sr IT Engineer will support and configure our new Oracle HCM solution and ancillary systems along with various integration flows and logic.  You’ll ensure system design and configurations include scalability, reliability, and data quality/flow to provide confidence in system availability and data integrity globally.  This will include monitoring and alerts on performance and capacity to validate the system is operating at its peak.

What you'll be doing:

• Understanding of HCM and HRIS processes and workflows including core HR, payroll, talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management, and other ancillary systems & processes
• Design, develop prototypes, automate, etup integrations, coordinate QA UAT & validation, promote across Dev/Test/Staging/Production environments as needed for new features and requirements to align with corporate needs
• Debug and troubleshoot issues and identify any code defects for remediation
• Identify opportunities for evaluating and onboarding new technologies and features based on business needs
• Automate repeatable processes to improve turnaround times for new features/requests and resolving issues

Bonus Skills:

• Challenging the status quo, seeking continuous improvements and adoption
• Background with Boomi integration and Netsuite ERP
• Ability to design and document data and workflows effectively to various audiences effectively (technical and non-technical) to gain concurrence

What we're looking for:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years of IT experience and 5+ years of experience with functional components of  HCM System as well as integration: Core HR, Pay, Time & Absence or ICM
• 5+ years of experience in HCM domain, workflows and processes, payroll processing, benefits integration.
• Strong knowledge of HCM modules, integrations, file feeds, APIs and data schema.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining technical systems - self-hosted and SaaS
• Experience with scripting and application development
• Strong knowledge of HCM Preferred (3rd-party) Vendors and payroll applications
• Experience with managing IT systems and IT support lifecycle
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM is preferred
