LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9-week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.

The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technical Manager and Consumer Magazine Review (CMR) Manager with marketing activities, tradeshow support and CMP activity support

CI Roles

• Updating Online assets - Add/Modify asset modules on internal and partner sites

• Tradeshow Activities - Support sales teams with product procurement and setup when needed

• Satisfaction surveys - Outreach to gather insights and follow up on issues and trends

CMR Roles

• Setup and quality check/evaluate HE CMR samples (TV, Soundbar, Gram, etc.)

• Assist in setting up Units Under Test (UUT) for internal benchmark comparison demonstrations

• Track and inventory CRM samples (incoming/outgoing from reviewers)

Projects

• The project will focus on increasing exposure to CI dealers on our new products and specific CI features

• Gather insights to improve our products and services.

• This will help drive sales through the channel

• Efficiently maintain strict quality standards for CMR samples ensuring precise quality delivery to the end customer

CI Projects Summary:

• Focus on assisting the CI sales team to educate CI dealers on our products and features

CMR Projects Summary:

• Hands-on experience working behind the scenes to deliver a tangible product into the hands of expert product reviewers

• Observing the strengths and weaknesses of LG HE products versus competitors in objective benchmark demonstrations

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University and going into their second or third year

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Google docs)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Collaborate with other CVE team members to complete assigned tasks/projects

• Strong technological skills and basic understanding to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Time management - share projects between multiple managers

• Work well under tight timelines

• Flexibility pivoting from one project to the next based on management priorities
