Head - 5G Partnership

5G Def-i platform provides cloud native application run time environment, abstracts networks APIs, orchestrates application workloads across cloud resources, integrates with 3rd party platform / application eco-systems to incubate new apps and services that will allow companies to keep up with changes in technology.

The platform enables launch of new applications in any industry, enterprise, factory or smart-city environment; brings visibility to end-user devices and data; provides an intelligence layer to develop insights that accelerate transformation.

As the Global Head of 5G Def-I platform, you will own the platform strategy and feature delivery by leading a cross functional team to build frameworks and methodologies. You will deliver best in class features for revenue generation.

• Lead software development organization to successful delivery of outcomes

• Lead platform development teams and other stakeholders to set goals for improving code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, integration and monitor progress.

• Lead platform management and development teams through daily activities - specifications, certification, interface, new feature launch and GTM activities

• Consolidate and prioritize feature requests for integration and development with stakeholders (customers, partners, and internal users)

• Collaborate with business, engineering and IT leaders to develop short- and long-term strategic plans.

• Collaborate with product engineering, enterprise, ecosystem, infrastructure, customer to develop and ensure successful and quality performance - Build strong working relationships and alignment with business leaders to capture requirements for software delivery.

• Define and manage development budget with ongoing focus on personnel, vendor, and capital budgets.

• Responsible for platform interface with customer environment/3rd party applications

• Oversee management and integration of software with partners, including support negotiation of statement of work and business terms with partners and suppliers.

• Subject matter expert on platform- represent capabilities and roadmap to internal and external parties.

• Develop workforce strategy to meet organization's current and future development needs through developing, hiring, and sourcing talents with talent acquisition team.

Skills & experience

• Bachelors or master's in computer science, electrical engineering - Masters a plus

• 10+ years in platform development

• 10+ years in leadership experience

• 5 years telecom or related industry experience, including 5G/4G LTE.

• Working level knowledge of relevant tools, and platforms (cloud technology, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD ETC)
