At Fortune Media, we are reinventing how a storied brand, steeped in journalism and business, adapts to today’s digital-first world. The digital transformation of Fortune from a print magazine to a multi-channel media company is in full swing, and we are looking for a Head of Digital Revenue Technology Strategy to lead the growth advertising technology team.

This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer directly.

The What:

• Develop and lead overall online advertising technology vision and strategy for Fortune
• Build and direct a high-performing team of internal personnel and external resources to effectively develop online advertising and programmatic solutions.
• Utilize data, consumer insights and analytics to build relevant digital experiences and evaluate overall performance metrics and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain business roadmap, including optimization of existing channels and development of new channels
• Maximize consumer engagement and revenue by developing a fully integrated 1st party data strategy
• Meet revenue and growth targets set by creating new products and offerings as well as optimizing existing ones
• Own / track / manage passive content monetization technology stack. Including RSS/MRSS feeds and custom content licensing and extension
• Collaborate closely with sales team on new product lines and team support needs

Experience And Skills:

• Proven leadership of large-scale advertising technology and of other digital teams
• Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities within demanding timeframes
• Ability to build effective teams and develop / mentor internal and external talent
• Solid data fluency and proven ability to make data driven decisions
• Strong organization and project management skills with focus on attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to lead innovative products and business initiatives
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills

Location:  NYC - Hybrid. Successful candidates must live a commutable distance from our Lower Manhattan headquarters a minimum of 1-2 days a week, as needed.

Base salary: $150,000 - $200,000. Bonus compensation will be offered.
