The Opportunity:

The Head of Amazon and Marketplaces will be responsible for leading and scaling our presence on Amazon and other online marketplaces. This role will drive strategy, operations, and growth for our marketplace channels, ensuring that we maximize our brand presence and revenue + profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Amazon and marketplace strategy to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Manage product listings, inventory levels, and pricing strategies across all marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the online customer experience.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon and other marketplace representatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest marketplace trends, competitor strategies, and emerging platforms.
  • Lead a team of marketplace specialists, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Plan and execute Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brand, and DSP, to increase visibility and sales.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including sales data, advertising ROI, and customer feedback, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align Amazon promotions with broader marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Stay abreast of Amazon policies, industry trends, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to Amazon platform management, setting clear Objectives and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Amazon and marketplace management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and profitability on online marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Amazon Seller Central and other marketplace platforms.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions.
