The Opportunity: Are you ready to be part of something truly groundbreaking? As the Head of Analytics at Flip Shop, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to revolutionize e-commerce. You'll lead a team of talented data analysts and data scientists to harness the power of data and user-generated content to enhance the shopping experience and drive unprecedented growth.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Insights: Use advanced analytics and collaborate with leaders across the company to uncover actionable insights that will share our strategic direction and drive business growth. 
• Innovative Solutions: Spearhead the development of innovative solutions to personalize the shopping experience and drive engagement.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor the performance of key initiatives and track their impact via key metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in analytics and user-generated content, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a team of data practitioners to unleash their full potential and drive innovation in everything they do.

Requirements:

• Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of using data to drive business results.
• Leadership Abilities: Exceptional leadership abilities with a knack for inspiring and motivating teams to achieve extraordinary results.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis. Experience with BI & visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau). 
• E-commerce Expertise: Deep understanding of the e-commerce industry and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Creative Thinking: A creative thinker with the ability to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position starts at $150,000 per year. Base salary and total compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please note the base salary is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include equity, performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and other progressive benefits.
