Job Description
The Head of Art will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the art direction of our agency. This role requires a multi-disciplinary approach, blending expertise in advertising, design and artistic projects with a strong understanding of digital ecosystems and content creation. The ideal candidate will have a holistic vision and the ability to lead and orchestrate a team of Art Directors, Brand Designers, Motion Designers, Content Creatives and Developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the artistic direction and vision for all agency projects, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach.
- Oversee the development and execution of advertising campaigns, design and artistic projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into compelling visual concepts and strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of Art Directors, Brand Designers, Motion Designers and Content Creatives, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs, maintaining the agency’s high standards.
- Drive the creation of social media content that engages audiences and aligns with client objectives.
- In collaboration with our Developers, oversee the development of digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the agency at the forefront of creativity and innovation.
- Work closely with other department heads to integrate artistic vision with overall agency strategy and goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior creative role within an agency or similar environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects and disciplines, including advertising campaigns, design and artistic projects.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms and social media content creation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and staying ahead of industry trends.
