As the Head of Brand Content at Guild, you will craft and implement a content strategy that will build our brand, engage a variety of audiences, and help the business generate the most impact possible. A systems thinker, you will establish standards and processes to ensure consistently high-quality output that aligns with brand voice, while also supporting our business objectives. You will have the opportunity to formalize the tone of voice for our content and brand, as well driving promotion and distribution strategy for all brand content that is produced.

We're looking for a passionate people leader, who will oversee our storytelling, studio and social media teams. You will guide the strategy creation for the team, set expectations for a consistently high quality of output, and mentor the immense talent around you to overachieve on their goals. You will also work with partners inside and outside of the company to ensure broad distribution and consumption of the content you build.

Responsibilities:
  • Bring to life our brand guidelines to tell Guild’s story to the world. Have a distinct POV on the brand narrative that can differentiate Guild and multiply our impact.
  • Lead all aspects of our editorial calendar across a mix of mediums (including whitepapers, company blogs, videos, and podcasts, as well as external publications) which will serve as the “single pane of glass” for the entire organization to reference content production
  • Mentor and enable a team of hard-working brand practitioners to execute on a multifaceted brand content strategy
  • Partner closely with our creative director to ensure the highest quality output and incredible design
  • Drive distribution and promotion of all brand content that is produced
  • Bring together and align cross-functional peers and partners so that our content calendar reflects our business strategy and the business deliverables coming out of the organization
Requirements:
  • An inspiring portfolio of consistent content production across multiple mediums
  • 10+ years of experience leading content strategy and managing content teams
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and proven success in succinct strategy creation
  • Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining strong employees
  • Ability to optimally collaborate using influence and encourage to achieve desired results
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $200,000-$237,500, as well as company stock options.
