Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced business development leader to acquire net new commercial partnerships in service of new revenue. You will be responsible for finding new partners and managing the overall sale, working in conjunction with broker and carrier teams. These partners will include but not limited to insurance carriers, benefits tech, HCM/HRIS, and top flight consulting reseller arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • With intrinsic drive and strategic initiative, leverage the benefits ecosystem to create and close unique deals
  • Lead a small team responsible for acquiring large enterprise deals $500,000 and above
  • Prospecting, networking, and leveraging a deep network to build high-quality top of funnel deal activity
  • Individually lead end-to-end deal execution, including identifying, structuring, negotiating, and executing channel and partnership opportunities with third parties
  • Develop a granular understanding of influence to companies long time product roadmap through commercial priorities of external partners
  • Leverage relationships with consultants, brokers, and other professional networks to broaden awareness of Nayya
  • Work with our partners and internal teams (direct sales, customer success, marketing, legal, product, and engineering) to optimize joint selling and marketing strategies for driving revenue through the partner ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working inside a leading consultant or broker or working directly with consultant/brokers at a carrier or HR tech partner
  • Demonstrated record of success who can develop new contracted relationships with Consultants, Brokers and Carriers
  • Proven track record of building partnerships program from its inception in a high-growth environment
  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to present and manage a wide variety of relationships
  • Experience hiring and managing a team
  • Willing to travel 25%

The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $160,000- $210,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
