The Go To Market Systems organization is responsible for the selection, administration, governance and architecture of all 3rd Party SaaS applications and core GTM data sets that power our Go To Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Growth, and Customer Support).
The Head of GTM Programs manages a team of two and a suite of cross functional, business critical programs for the GTM organization. The role is the right hand person of the VP of Business Systems, acting occasionally as Chief of Staff for all strategic initiatives, partnering with them and the GTM leadership team (expected to be 3 - 4 senior managers and directors).
We’re hiring a Head of GTM Programs to:
- Manage a team of two Technical Program Managers, building a thriving, happy healthy team
- Lead and establish programs of work - currently responsible for Systems Procurement, management of consultants, supporting business critical functions and technical programs, and the leadership team
- Partner with the VP and Systems leaders to manage a portfolio of programs including intake, prioritization, risk management, establishing processes, reporting and ensuring progress across all key business areas
There is scope in future to expand this role in future to a Head of PMO role with further teams and remit.
We are looking for candidates with an established track record (ideally in a fast-moving SAAS company) driving complex, cross-functional strategic, and operational projects to successful completion, and leading and building strong teams, and with experience working with executive leadership.

What will I be doing? 🚀
- Lead strategic programs by achieving agreement on program scope, release planning, aligning multiple teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing support from partners.
- Develop partnerships with important functional partners to drive focus on business goals. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
- Partner with team members to lead working team meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, metrics review, milestones.
- Report program status (issues, risks, metrics) on an ongoing basis through proactive status reporting (to all partners, team members, and interested parties).
- Manage program dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders.
- Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
- Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
- Be both a player and a coach as needed, and you must be willing and able to roll up your sleeves and get into the details when required.
- Build trusted and strong working relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
- Help craft compelling executive presentations for program visibility and decision-making.
What skills do I need? 📖
Required:
- Excited to build out a strong team of TPMs with the potential to expand the team to a PMO
- Experience working as a Chief of Staff / Head of Operations / senior exec level and able to manage several concurrent projects
- Ability to operate with proactivity and flexibility in an evolving team environment.
- Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Experience working with Go To Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Data) and an understanding of Sales business processes in the opportunity-to-close cycle and configure, pricing, and quoting process.
- Strong background in successfully managing strategic and complex projects across various departments required
- You must be able to create high quality program deliverables including, strategies, project plans and clear and engaging communications on progress towards our goals.
- You can occasionally do technical dive deeps in collaboration with Business Systems Engineers, Analysts, and Systems architects
Preferred but not required:
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana (or enthusiasm to become an expert)
- Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or Salesforce CPQ Experience
- Scrum Master and Agile experience in a technical organization
