The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

The GTM team at Moloco defines, designs, and executes on the commercial strategy for the company. The team is responsible for identifying, sizing, and segmenting the opportunity, determining how our sales and business development teams go after it, and enabling them to be successful at doing so. We are alumni from top consulting companies, mobile disruptors, big tech, and ad tech leading organizations, and we optimize for growth for each of us and for the company. Within the GTM org, the newly formed Central StratOps function drives strategy and execution across new products that will represent the next S-curve for Moloco, and partners with the Growth Initiatives team leading our supply, creative, and data partnerships. In addition, Central StratOps designs and delivers special projects and  cross-product strategic initiatives, supporting planning and investment decisions. The leader of the Central StratOps function partners closely with other parts of the GTM org and with senior execs in charge of new products and growth initiatives. This senior leader can influence, coordinate, and execute with cross-functional teams like Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Finance. 

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can hire, nurture, coach, motivate, and grow a top-class team of program managers and business analysts. You are a passionate strategist who knows how to zoom out, see the whole problem, and execute on targeted strategic improvements - quickly and with relentless focus on top line growth. You have a proven track record at turning ambiguous business challenges into A/B tests and ultimately GTM innovations. You build your perspective both digging deep into the data, and incorporating market reality and voice of the customer. You know how to scale from scrappy pilots to cross-functional and global commercialization initiatives. 

(Remote job status on some job sites is to allow for applying from select locations and will still require coming to a local office on an as needed basis. Locations we are considering applicants from include: San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Seattle.)

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  • Build, grow, and lead a team driving strategy and operations for our new products, including Retail Media Platform (RMP), Performance Ad Server (PAS), and Connected TV (CTV)
  • Partner with Growth Initiatives leadership team to drive strategy and operations for our Supply and Data partnerships
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new product and business opportunities for Moloco across product areas and customer segments, steering strategic decision making and resource allocation
  • Own the Moloco Business Organization (MBO) narrative for current and future investor communications, including board meetings and IPO readiness

Here is what you need to succeed:

  • 12+ years of Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership experience, of which 8+ years of people management experience
  • Keen understanding of B2B Sales motions, from top funnel lead gen to long term value sustainability, combining strong analytical chops with a deep understanding of real-life seller and customer dynamics
  • Proven track record of driving top line growth via strategic initiatives in a global, fast paced B2B sales setting
  • Ability to challenge and persuade cross-functional audiences to act - from peers around the org to senior executives
  • Bonus points: experience in the adtech, performance marketing, retail media, or machine learning space
  • Bonus points: past work in a fast-paced startup environment
