Head of Client Operations
Job Description
This role is NYC-based, but we will consider remote applicants. Requires regular domestic travel.
Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65. And yet, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. At Sage we've built a more modern way of understanding when older adults need help, including methods for residents to alert caregivers when in need of help, and corresponding software for caregivers to triage response.
Sage is looking for a solutions-oriented Head of Client Operations to oversee client activities post initial contract such as implementation, ongoing support, and all value-driving activities for our enterprise clients. This leader will support strong and growing implementation and customer success teams, and will continue to scale as needed.
Responsibilities- Partner with Business Development team to drive conversions of pilots and expansions with new and existing clients
- Own overall Client Operations strategy, including but not limited to overall client growth, retention and engagement, implementation, and support
- Act as a player coach for your team, diving into the most challenging customer problems while leading your team to drive value for the business
- Drive client strategy and execution for new clients, including standardizing processes and SOPs to ensure repeatable, scalable success
- Interface with c-level executives at clients to help convey the value created by Sage’s teams and products
Minimum qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience, with at least 2 years of people leadership experience
- Client services, account management, client success, partnerships, or other relevant experience a must
- Strong leadership skills, able to inherit a team and manage multiple sub-functions
- Thrives in ambiguity - Sage is an early-stage company with a lot of white space to build the playbook to scale our clients
- Growth-minded - able to not just solve problems, but implement solutions that lead to further growth
- Strong connection to our mission of improving care for older adults
- Experience with healthcare preferred
