Role Objective:

The Head of Comms & Brand Positioning at Airtm is the visionary behind our brand strategy and position by leveraging communication which includes media relations public speaking influencers social media content conference attendance internal communications and crisis communications to position Airtm in the online economy.

This role is pivotal in defining Airtm's market position ensuring our message resonates across all audiences from digital entrepreneurs to enterprise clients. The leader will articulate Airtm’s value proposition weaving together brand narratives and storytelling that highlight Airtm’s role in financial empowerment and digital economy inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and articulate a compelling brand narrative that aligns with Airtm's mission and resonates across target audiences.

-Create and execute earned media strategies leveraging media relationships to secure key editorial coverage and organize media interviews in industry-relevant mediums in the Online Economy.

- Identify topics trends events and news agenda items to proactively pitch and secure media coverage in mediums that are relevant to decision-makers of marketplaces in the online economy.

-Oversee social media strategy influencer partnerships content marketing and PR efforts ensuring alignment with brand objectives.

-Act as a strategic internal communications liaison enhancing internal communications channels to drive engagement and foster company culture.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Leadership Marketing Business Development Product People and Legal to ensure a unified brand and communication strategy.

-Proactively manage PR activities including crisis communication to navigate challenges and maximize positive exposure.

-Lead and mentor the Brand and Communications team fostering a culture of innovation strategic insight and operational excellence.

Experience and Skills:

-A minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management public relations or a related field with a proven track record in elevating brand narratives and securing high-level media coverage in B2B companies or SaaS Companies.

-Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams and working effectively across functions.

-A deep understanding of the digital economy and users that participate in it and familiarity with the crypto industry is highly preferred.
