We are looking for a Head of Communications

Compensation: $260,000 - $286,000 salary (including superannuation), employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.

About the role

As the Head of Communications, you will lead and execute Rokt’s external and internal communications strategy & content. You will be responsible for establishing our corporate reputation, enhancing our external presence, driving employee connection, partnering with executive leadership and writing effective communications with/for key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that aligns the company’s vision, mission, and business objectives and builds off global and local marketing plans. This includes serving as the primary author of key corporate themes and business changes while helping others become sought-after spokespeople on key topics.
• Reputation Management: Elevate and protect the company's internal and external brand and reputation across all media channels and platforms, including digital and social media. This includes creating proactive strategies/playbooks in advance of crises to directing communications when they occur.
• Public Relations: Plan and execute public relations campaigns to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation. This includes serving as the primary liaison for media inquiries, and building strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists globally in partnership with external PR agency(s) for both proactive and reactive needs.
• Internal Communications: Lead internal communications, ensuring employees are informed, connected and engaged with the company’s strategy and values.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a senior communications roles, with hands-on experience in a hyper-growth environment, under pressure, as an individual contributor and manage unknowns effectively
• Excellent verbal communication and impeccable writing skills
• Proven examples in developing and implementing successful communications
• Strong understanding of media, advertising & commerce landscapes and digital platforms
