Organized in 2018, NUTS Finance is a blockchain development lab focused on creating the building blocks to enable financial applications on the blockchain.

We launched Tapio Protocol in 2021, a synthetic asset protocol for liquid staking tokens and raised over $4 million from industry leading institutional investors including: Polychain Capital, Hypersphere, Arrington and more.

Our most recent DeFi protocol, Pike a native cross-chain money market was launched at the end of 2023 and we have secured over $6.45m from our own community and contributors.

Our current focus is the launch of Pike 2.0 and we are searching for a Head of Community to lead Pike’s community expansion strategy. This role is for anyone who is truly passionate about DeFi, community building, customer success and shares a deep understanding for web3 culture. You will be collaborating with our growth and product teams to drive community traction and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead and manage the overall community growth strategy
• Work closely with Founders to define community growth targets and implement execution tactics
• Proactively scale and develop the community moderator team in order to integrate them with internal growth strategies and functions
• Design and implement creative programs to attract and establish a sustainable community contributor program
• Design ways to grow and maintain community traction and awareness via Discord servers and various social media channels
• Engage and build rapport with high valued community members, contributors and users
• Collaborate closely with Growth & Product teams by sharing community insights and feedback
• Flexibility to travel and attend global industry leading conferences

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customer acquisition and/or customer success roles, preferably within crypto or SaaS sectors, with a proven track record of customer service management
• Must be an active DeFi user and genuinely passionate about DeFi
• Proficient in social media channel management: Discord, X and Farcaster
• Excellent community engagement and desire to drive customer success
• Experience with handling high pressure cases such as customer complaints and/or service outage
• Ability to de-escalate and handle hostile interactions with community members and customers
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding teams towards achieving targets
• High agency and ability to work effectively in a remote setting and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience founding a company or building side projects in the crypto/Web3 space

Compensation

• Salary Range: USD 60,000 to 80,000
• Discretionary performance bonus: up to 15% of annual salary
