As our Head of Compliance, VP on our Legal, Policy, and Compliance team, you will oversee a compliance program at a complex, rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for an essential function of the company, and have the opportunity to join a talented and motivated group of builders.
Reporting into the General Counsel, you will create, implement and execute compliance standards and controls for the organization. You will also work to educate and coordinate Redesign Health stakeholders and employees regarding compliance rules and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience as a compliance generalist and specific expertise/experience operating a compliance program for an SEC-registered investment advisor or exempt reporting adviser. Expert knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, SEC and FINRA regulations is required. Â

What you’ll do:- Develop and administer best-in-class compliance programs, policies and practices
- Identify areas for new or improved policies
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessmentsÂ
- Work closely with our stakeholders to ensure that the company functions in a legal, ethical manner while pursuing its business goals
- Work with partners in Legal and Risk Management to investigate and resolve compliance issues or violations
- Educate and train employees on compliance-related matters
- You have 10+ years of compliance experience, with 5+ years building and implementing compliance programs at a venture capital firm
- You have 5+ years of experience with managing complex compliance programs, undertaking risk assessments and implementing risk management measures
- You have 5+ years of experience managing compliance related to an exempt-reporting advisor
- You can independently provide strategic direction to the management team relating to compliance, coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations, and leading internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of our operating teams   Â
- You have working knowledge of SEC compliance standards and a facility with related documents and policies
- You are able to identify and create frameworks to mitigate points of compliance risk
- You have strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- You have experience in creating training and education programs for different levels of employees and functions of the company, including management and senior executives
- You are able to identify, detect, prevent and correct noncompliance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations   Â
- You have experience reporting directly to, and communicating effectively with senior corporate management   Â

Full-time base salary of $289,000 plus a competitive equity & benefits package listed under the "Why work with us?" section.Â
