What you'll get to do: 

  • Working closely with the CEO and in partnership with the CFO, manage relationships with Investment Banking firms on strategic alternative assessments
  • Lead capital markets strategy across the organization including managing all current lender relationships as well as source new potential partners and pockets of capital
  • Manage the full spectrum of Company’s capital structure from equity, corporate debt, warehouse debt, and securitization to alternative funding source
  • Operationalize OppFi’s growth strategy through the identification, assessment and execution of potential partnerships, M&A, bolt-on investments and joint ventures.
  • Execute M&A processes, to ensure transactions are a strategic and financial fit, align with forward-looking business plans / company mission, and are integrated smoothly and fully optimized

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Undergraduate degree in business with concentrations in finance and/or accounting plus CPA, CA, CMA, CFA, CBV or MBA 
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial analysis and transaction/financing execution (i.e. M&A, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking or Corporate Development)
  • Background in debt and equity structuring (i.e. senior, sub, mezzanine, equity)
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills 
  • In depth knowledge of financing capital structuring 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Understanding of key business drivers and business strategy
  • Experience working in small teams and developing/coaching/mentoring junior-level staff
  • Experience working with multiple internal / external advisors within the context of a transaction and coordinated various workstreams (i.e. lawyers, accountants, tax and other specialists, etc.)
  • knowledge in consumer capital market products and bank offerings is a plus

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer 

Job Level: Senior Vice President

The minimum salary for this role is $250,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
