Tuff is a growth marketing agency that partners closely with scale-ups to help them increase revenue and sales. We specialize in tactics like Google Ads, Technical SEO, Content Strategy, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube, Email, and CRO. Our bread and butter is building efficient, holistic marketing strategies and we do this with our team, process, and style. Tuff is rapidly growing at a fast pace alongside being a division of Goodway Group!
In this position you'll be responsible for leading Tuff’s 11-person in-house creative team as well as external freelancers and partners to develop high-performing ad creative for multiple digital channels. You’ll also be on the hook for facilitating engaging, collaborative discussions with our clients and providing a high-touch client experience.
What you’ll do:
- Creatively/strategically guide the development of the performance creative department for Tuff
- Work with high-value clients in dedicated sessions to review creative strategy, messaging strategy, and channel-specific creative strategy
- Manage 5 senior direct reports
- Collaborate closely with leadership on creative operations, revenue, and growth
- Manage creative processes, deliverables, feedback, and overall execution
Wittin 30 days:
- Meet with everyone on the creative team and core clients to learn about Tuff’s growth marketing and performance creative processes
- Work with the creative designers and animators to understand how we approach ad creative and strategy across different ad platforms, in particular onboarding a new creative account as well as ongoing creative development
- Work with the media team to understand our creative testing framework, how we measure creative results, and the impact of creative on our media approach
Within 60 days:
- Put together a 30/60/90 day performance creative roadmap based on clear outcomes and growth priorities
- Complete Tuff’s manager training program
- Collaborate with leadership on future creative revenue streams and the resources required to support these opportunities
Within 90 days:
- Manage the full creative team
- Lead all performance creative sales opportunities with sales support from the Tuff team
- Report monthly on key performance KPIs related to performance creative

What you’ll bring:
- 6-8 years of digital marketing & creative experience
- Strong knowledge of multiple digital channels and best ways to activate them through messaging and design
- Crystal clear, thoughtful, intentional communication and client management styles
- Strong experience working with creative and media teams
- The ability to research, find, and deliver actionable creative insights
- Experience providing creative strategy across multi-channel relationships
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and peers
- Effective time management and project management skills

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000
