Head of Data

As the Head of Data at LogiFuture, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our data strategy, with a focus on data warehousing and streaming technologies. You will help build and lead a talented team of data engineers and analysts to ensure we harness the full potential of our data assets and support our business's growth and innovation.

This role is for an experienced Head of Data who is passionate about leading high-impact data initiatives and possesses a deep understanding of data warehousing, streaming technologies, and relevant tools such as Kafka, ClickHouse, and Spark.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership to the data team, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehousing solutions.
• Ensure data warehousing technologies, including ClickHouse, are scalable, secure, and capable of handling large volumes of data.
• Lead the implementation of event sourcing and streaming technologies, including Kafka, to enable real-time data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver business value through streaming data solutions.
• Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain data quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. In addition, implement data cataloging and metadata management processes.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. Concurrently, set clear objectives and foster professional growth and development among team members.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies, including Spark, and assess their potential for adoption in the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define data requirements and priorities and make informed recommendations for technology investments and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data leadership roles, with a strong background in data warehousing and streaming technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of event sourcing, streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), and related tools and frameworks.
• Expertise in data governance and data quality practices.
• Familiarity with data technologies such as ClickHouse and Spark.
• Ability to assess and recommend the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
