Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Head of Deal Desk and Partner Operations! You will report to the Lance Szely, Head of Revenue Operations and will be responsible for driving deal strategy by improving process and reducing deal cycle times. The role will also support the newly formed Partnerships sales team in completing the vision and strategy as well as operationalizing key Partnership programs. This is a leadership role within the Revenue Operations team.
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with vision with the ability to lead large cross functional deliverables. In this role, you will be directly responsible for driving outcomes that will have a positive impact to Calendly's revenue.
On a typical day, you will be working on:Deal Desk Responsibilities:- Lead the deal desk team who runs the day-to-day aspects of deal management, quoting, contract management and order operations.
- Strategic partner to Sales and CS to provide creative solutions for deal management that will lead to shorter sales cycles, improved customer satisfaction and reduced back and forth on customer agreements.
- Work alongside Sales Operations, Legal, Product, and Security to continually drive improvements to the current deal management process.
- Proactively drive initiatives that increase Sales and CS productivity and in turn reduce overall deal cycle time
- Support strategic deal management initiatives including evaluating areas of opportunity for the business
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales organization
- Support the creation and review of Partner agreements in conjunction with Legal and Finance
- Implement process for partner pipeline tracking and reporting
- Work with the Sr Manager of Partnerships to create partner programs that will drive revenue
- Coordinate and prioritize, with the Business Systems team, Salesforce.com functionality required to support the Partnerships team
- 8+ years’ relevant experience in deal desk, finance, or a similar role (SaaS experience a must, but need not be for all of those years)
- Experience supporting revenue teams
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Experience leading cross functional sophisticated projects end-to-end; from inception to design to execution
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proven track record working cross-functionally and establishing relationships and influencing others
- Track record of results in fast paced environments and ability to excel under ambiguity
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
