BBH's Investor Services differentiates through exceptional service, deep subject matter expertise and differentiated tech-based client offerings and experiences. The Head of Digital Client Experience and Data Analytics Product is responsible for accelerating the discovery, incubation, and delivery of new and differentiated digital solutions aimed at enabling global asset managers and financial institutions to optimize their operating models. These solutions include BBH's interactive client web portal as well as a comprehensive suite of data-driven middle and back-office applications and on-line digital tools. This role will also assume responsibility for product development, design, and incorporating the market view with regard to the commercial opportunity set presented by our solutions in the AI and Machine Learning space including digitization of processes, intelligent automation, and AI driven predicative analytics.
In the Digital Client Experience area, the product executive leads the global and interdisciplinary team charged with driving multiple distinct enterprise disciplines for Investor Services:
- Design, development and deployment of new digital products spanning all stages of the product development cycle including research, concept design, rapid prototyping, and full production launches.
- Ownership of BBH's Enterprise user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design discipline
- Optimization of BBH's holistic client user experience though objective, quantitative, and targeted usage analytics reporting
- Collaboration across Investor Services' various products and services to prioritize enhancements that would bolster BBH's client experience brand in the market.
In the Data Analytics Product areas, the product executive will actively collaborate with BBH's internal Business Transformation Team to identify and mature viable new product opportunities that leverage data analytics and AI/machine learning to create efficiency, identify exceptions and anomalies, and ensure comprehensive oversight and control of middle and back-office operational processes. This important product development and strategy function will include client and market outreach in partnership with BBH's formal Voice of Client program and ultimately a close partnership with Sales and Relationship Management / Marketing on a go to market strategy.
The successful candidate for this role must be comfortable with clients and the market, must be an assured and confident presenter, must be familiar with relevant technology and able to clearly explain technical concepts to internal and external constituents.
Finally, this is a senior leadership role, and it is essential that the successful candidate is a great listener, a collaborative, transparent, open to peer review and will model those behaviors through the organization.
The Head of Digital Client Experience and Data Analytics will report to the co-head of the Infomediary Data Solutions division.
Digital Product Strategy & Data Analytics
- Lead a global team responsible for creating and delivering a multi-year capabilities roadmap designed to deliver digital products specifically for a new data services segment within the Infomediary Data Services product suite
- Create, develop, and champion new business cases for data services product concepts (both for BBH suite of managed data services as well as SaaS technology-only solutions) that:
- Leverage client and BBH data provide maximum transparency into client and/or BBH data streams to promote oversight and control over critical operational process.
- Employ cutting edge data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate actionable client insights and support timely and informed decision making.
- Collaborate closely the data services client facing teams to optimize development spend, accelerate time-to-market, and maximize BBH's technology brand drive new commercial opportunities.
- Work across the business with key stakeholders to identify use cases where internal use of emerging tech can be pivoted into client facing product.
- Lead the global team responsible for establishing the strategic vision for the enterprise UX/UI design discipline, including:
- Employing design thinking concepts within the organization to create and deploy exceptional visual and functional digital product designs allow BBH to redefine the overall digital client experiences it offers its assets manager clients.
- Refining the overall creative direction at an enterprise level, establishing contemporary design patterns and style guides that align and promote with the overall BBH brand.
- Building leading capabilities around rapid prototyping and early solutions testing methodologies to shorten design cycles, reduce development costs, increase speed to market.
- Lead the global team responsible for establishing the execution and strategy behind a robust product deployment and adoption program, including:
- Driving continual and regular release schedule of new digital features and functions that help to further maximize client satisfaction and product ROI
- Developing a process for actively incorporating real time user analytics and client feedback into ongoing assessment of all deployed capabilities and products, enabling validation of ROI, targeted adoption initiatives and user experience enhancement
- Directing an enterprise program around digital product demo asset management, including strategy and inventory of demo assets for various scenarios, products and core capabilities
Client, Market and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with the Investor Service's relationship management, client service teams and Voice of Client teams, to efficiently uncover the most relevant digital platform features and functions as well as identified use cases / products from the use of emerging technology by:
- Aligning the organization to the strategy through content creation, conversations, meetings, presentations with internal teams and clients
- Developing a full portfolio of sales and product demo for all digital solutions that enable RE and CSG to effectively promote and enhance BBH's technology brand
- Actively engaging with clients to better assess how newly launched platform features and digital solutions are performing against stated objectives and user analytics influencing the Digital Solutions roadmap and targeted enhancements or adoption activity
- Taking a lead role in directly soliciting user feedback from active users, via surveys and active engagement, as well as high-definition prototypes
- Establishing a regular cadence of digital strategy update sessions, release communications, product launch communications and user tips.
- Providing competitive insights about digital product trends in the market
Management
- Manage a globally team distributed across BBH's Boston, New Jersey, London, and Krakow offices
- Ensure the team's Product Mangers, Business Analysts, and UX Designers continuously build the right skills and talent from the ground up, including:
- Hiring, managing, and developing an effective hybrid digital product team
- Promoting development through one-to-one mentoring and through bringing people together to share best-practices
The Ideal Candidate has
- 15+ Years of Experience in Asset Servicing Strategy and/or Digital Product Strategy
- MBA or similar graduate level degree in finance, strategy or marketing
- Specific knowledge of the global asset management industry, including financial instruments, middle and back office processes, rules and regulations, data requirements, major software and services providers, technology trends, etc.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of digital technology and data concepts including, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cognitive computing, application programming interfaces, service-oriented data architectures, data analytics, and blockchain as well as an ability to recommend apply these concepts to innovative solutions that align with clients' strategic objectives
- Exceptional oral presentation and product demonstration skills
- Consultative skill set, including a track record of providing unique and innovative insights across multiple areas
- Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships and collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others
- Knack for creativity conveying key strategic messaging in print and multimedia (PowerPoint, Keynote, and print) as well as the skill and confidence to deliver interactive presentations to clients and senior BBH stakeholders
