Head of Display Service Business Unit - (M7)
Job Description
Head of Display Service Business Unit (SBU) in AGS SSC organization. Provides leadership to executives/managers, develops & executes strategies to achieve business objectives and accountable for SBU's service products, financial & operational performance as guided by Applied Materials strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Service products and capabilities to grow recurring revenue including subscription like Long Term Service Agreements, accountable for service product P&L for his or her SBU.
- Lead SBU annual strategic review & business planning, market penetration & competitive landscapes assessment. Develop differentiated service product portfolio to grow revenue/tool by delivering value to our customers with higher output and yield and/or reduced cost.
- Drive Service Readiness Review, PDP (Product Development Process), Service Product Development projects and End of Service, End of Life product life cycle for his or her BU products to meet Applied Materials strategic goals.
- Primary SSC point of contact for corresponding BU GM and BU staff.
- Initiate and execute service and spares reliability/technical improvements, drive CIPs (Continuous Improvement Programs) and Design for Serviceability for accountable BU products
- Ensure SSC engagement and coordination in ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), PCNs (Part Change Notifications) and unreleased product approval / control with their corresponding BU.
- Support and participate in coordination between SBU and various SSC groups (such as marketing, field operations, OCE, finance and strategic suppliers) to operationalize our service products to achieve AGS target operating margin with improved operational metrics for cycle time, PBV (Period, Burden and Variance) and E&O.

- Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times. This includes demonstrating the highest level of ethical conduct reflecting Applied Materials' core values.
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably with MSc or MBA.
Experience:
10-15+ Years; 5+ years DCVD process / hardware engineering experience strongly preferred
