Summary

As the HR Technology Employee Lifecycle Management Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of HR technology solutions throughout the employee lifecycle. You will lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of HR technology systems, streamline processes, and enhance the employee experience. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, technology expertise, and strong people management skills to drive successful implementation and continuous improvement.

Head of Employee Lifecycle Management Responsibilities:

  • HR Technology Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute the HR technology strategy for employee lifecycle management aligned with the overall HR and strategic organizational goals. Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to identify technology requirements and develop long-term roadmaps. Stay informed about emerging HR technology trends and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions. Assess the effectiveness of existing HR technology systems and make recommendations for enhancements or replacements as needed.
  • Employee Lifecycle System Implementation and Enhancement: Lead the implementation and enhancement of HR technology systems across the employee lifecycle and supporting HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and off boarding. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure systems to meet business needs. Ensure seamless integration between different HR systems, data integrity, and data security throughout the employee lifecycle. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
  • Process Optimization and Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the employee lifecycle. Streamline HR processes by leveraging technology solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee self-service capabilities. Work closely with HR stakeholders to map out processes, identify pain points, and implement automated workflows. Monitor process performance and user feedback to continuously optimize and enhance HR technology solutions.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR technology systems to collect, analyze, and report on HR data related to the employee lifecycle. Develop and maintain standardized HR metrics and dashboards to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks for measuring HR effectiveness. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving HR programs and processes.
  • Compliance and Data Privacy: Ensure HR technology systems and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and data privacy requirements. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures for employee data management. Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to address any privacy or security concerns.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of HR technology professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Identify skill gaps within the team and develop training programs to enhance their capabilities. Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Minimum Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR technology, employee lifecycle management, or HRIS, with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Understanding of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding.
  • Knowledge of HR technology systems, such as Workday, Salesforce, Performance management, and offboarding tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading HR technology implementation projects and driving process optimization initiatives.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the experience to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, and their implications on HR technology.
