Head of Finance

The Head of Finance will be responsible for creating and overseeing the financial operations of Vitally, ensuring financial compliance, analyzing financial data, and providing financial reports to the management team & investors. The role also involves creating budgets and developing financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to the management & investors
• Create budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial stability
• Work with our CPA firm to ensure balanced books and financials at the end of every month, quarter, and year
• Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally with other leaders in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, and Talent

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Head of Finance for growing SaaS companies
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and willingness to get into the details
• Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
• Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate up to the executive and Board level - strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
