About This Role

Klarity Health is looking for a full-time Head of Finance to join our Finance team in Redwood City, CA (remote candidates are also considered). Reporting to our CEO/COO, this role serves as a key partner to our Sales, Marketing, Product, Health Care Operations and Accounting Departments to both help better analyze Klarityโ€™s business today as well as provide the data and insights necessary to achieve our strategic and financial plans over the long term.

Location: In-person in Redwood City, CA or remote (US)

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver clear, concise, and comprehensive financial reports to facilitate management decision-making. Analyze financial data and develop robust financial models to support strategic decisions.
  • Budget Development & Management: Lead the development of budgets and financial plans, using data-driven analysis. Monitor budget and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and financial institutions, representing the company's financial interests.
  • Accounting Oversight: Oversee all accounting functions and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operations. Establish and implement effective accounting policies and procedures. Liaise with external auditors for annual audits.

    Required & Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial role.
    • Start-up working experience.
    • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
    • Proficient in financial management software.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • (Preferred) Master's degree in Finance or MBA.
    • (Preferred) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

      Compensation & Benefits

      • Base salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
