About This Role

Klarity Health is looking for a full-time Head of Finance to join our Finance team in Redwood City, CA (remote candidates are also considered). Reporting to our CEO/COO, this role serves as a key partner to our Sales, Marketing, Product, Health Care Operations and Accounting Departments to both help better analyze Klarity’s business today as well as provide the data and insights necessary to achieve our strategic and financial plans over the long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver clear, concise, and comprehensive financial reports to facilitate management decision-making. Analyze financial data and develop robust financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Budget Development & Management: Lead the development of budgets and financial plans, using data-driven analysis. Monitor budget and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and financial institutions, representing the company's financial interests.
• Accounting Oversight: Oversee all accounting functions and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operations. Establish and implement effective accounting policies and procedures. Liaise with external auditors for annual audits.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial role.
• Start-up working experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Proficient in financial management software.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• (Preferred) Master's degree in Finance or MBA.
• (Preferred) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
