Head of Financial Accounting

Head of Financial Accounting is a leading role in which you oversee the accounting function of the Group, act as an owner of proper and timely financial periods closing and lead projects in the finance team to improve accounting processes and systems.

Functions:

• Oversight of accounting operations in subsidiaries and coordination of accounting partners
• Lead and manage timely month-end and year-end closing processes across the Group
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documents for all locations at the corporate and management level in accordance with Group accounting policies and procedures
• Participation in tax compliance
• Coordination of statistical and statutory financial reports preparation
• Non-standard transactions accounting
• Participate in annual Statutory and Group financial audits
• Organize annual stock-take
• Lead projects in finance team to improve accounting processes and systems
• Organize and supervise the accounting department to ensure optimal work efficiency

Requirements

• Master's degree in accounting, economics, finance or related.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Chief Accountant out of 8-10 years of relevant experience, experience of non-residents accounting will be a plus.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Upper-intermediate English
• Strong computer literacy, especially with MS Excel
• Ability to work with accounting management program Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central (will be a plus)
• Team management experience (6-10 direct subordinates)
• Ability to prioritize workload, plan and delegate the tasks
• Attention to details and flexible approach
