OVERVIEW:
The Head of Financial Accounting leads the accounting department, managing financial reporting, compliance, and audits. This role involves delivering the Group Annual Report, driving the Group Audit, and ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. It also requires collaborating with other departments and international teams to support business goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee Group Annual Report and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).

• Lead the Group Audit, coordinating with auditors and tax teams.

• Ensure local financial statements are prepared, audited, and submitted on time.

• Work closely with finance, operations, and legal teams on business objectives.

• Improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

• Collaborate on Finance Transformation projects.

• Working with international and various finance streams (Tax, Treasury, FP&A) as well as other senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

DIRECT REPORTS:

• EU Finance Manager, Accounting

• North America Finance Manager, Accounting

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• ACA or equivalent qualification.

• 7+ years of experience, ideally with multi-territory businesses and consolidated accounts.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS (as adopted by the EU).

• SOx control, Audit and Big Four experience are a plus.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Working with international teams is a requirement.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software - SAP and MS Excel.

• Tech sector and crypto interest is beneficial.
