About the position:

As a Leader of Talent Management and DEIB, you will be responsible for steering our company’s talent management strategies, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, and leading the collaboration on topics such as performance management, succession planning and cross cultural collaboration across the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while promoting a culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. 

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies and programs, including performance management, succession planning, engagement surveys and employee retention plans.
  • Lead DEIB initiatives to create an inclusive workplace where all bobbers feel values and can thrive.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate Talent Management and DEIB principles into all aspects of the business.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform strategies and report on progress.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Talent & Learning/OD team.
  • Foster a continuous learning culture and support the professional development of employees.
  • Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in talent management, DEIB and learning and development.

**Note: We will only consider candidates located in the New York Metro Area who are willing to work in our NYC office 2-3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday). We love collaborating and connecting with our team members in-person, and we hope you will too!**

Base salaries for this role range from $140,000 - $185,000 per year.

When determining salary ranges for our roles, we look at external market data and the salaries of Bobbers holding the same or similar roles. Our pay bands are wide because great candidates come to us with a broad range of experience and skill sets. When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidates’ depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location-among other factors.

Requirements

Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren’t the only factor. If you don’t have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we’d still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within talent management, DEIB or a related field, preferably in the tech industry
  • Strong understanding of talent management practices and principles
  • Experience developing and implementing DEIB initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision making
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of executing successful programs
