The Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Go To Market Enablement is a vital component of our company and will drive consistency through enablement processes and increase productivity across Paperless Parts. The Head of GTM Enablement will be responsible for cross-functional enablement initiatives for the BDR, Filed Sales, Implementation, Services, and Marketing teams. This role Responsible for developing content and training to increase deal conversion and revenue by improving buyer engagements, driving organizational alignment, increasing sales pipeline acceleration and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our sales and customer success teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a team of enablement experts. Conduct an analysis of the current state of sales and customer success productivity in conjunction with company leadership.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation/deployment of technologies to be used by the Field-force to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish metrics and objectives for enablement and make recommendations for increasing productivity. 
  • Conduct an analysis of current skills, processes, knowledge and processes to and work with the Sales, pre-sales, Services, Marketing and customer success leadership team to identify strengths and areas for development. 
  • Develop and manage the 12-18 month onboarding and enablement roadmap. 
  • Implement the development, delivery and training of effective sales and customer success playbooks in tight collaboration with Sales and customer success leadership (especially first-line managers), sales operations, education and product marketing.
  • Create and update playbooks based on seller feedback and shifting market demands.
  • Help create a development program for frontline sales and customer success managers to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, processes and tools required to lead their teams effectively. 
  • Roll out a comprehensive on-boarding program through direct and 3rd party resources in tight collaboration with HR. 
  • Partner with sales, Customer Success leadership and HR to establish a competency and assessment framework to ensure that the needs of individual contributors and their managers are met.
  • Drive, in a measurable way, significant productivity and revenue increases for company’s BDR, Field Sales, and Customer Success roles.
  • Utilize and leverage sales technology tools for reporting and benchmarking (Salesforce, LMS platforms, etc). 
  • Travel to customer site on occasion, COVID-19 vaccination required
  • As part of the Paperless Parts team, further, the company-wide DEI & social impact initiates 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales/sales operations/sales enablement experience with global high tech B2B organizations.
  • Direct Field Sales and Field Sales Management experience and proven track record required (quota carrying) is strongly preferred - we are looking for someone who has “walked a mile in their shoes”.
  • Proven track record of building and leading an enablement function in a high growth company (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience creating and implementing successful Sales and Customer Success process/methodology/ sales playbook initiatives. 
  • Experience building effective on-boarding and training programs
  • Experience with CRM (such as Salesforce.com) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Ability to create and track metrics which demonstrate constant increases in sales and customer success productivity.

Secure bike storage is available. 

Encinitas Office: Our California office is our newest office which seats about 15 hardworking BDRs and Account Executives individuals. The office has an open floor plan with several conference rooms to encourage collaboration with your colleagues in California and TV's to connect with those sitting in Boston or remotely. The office comes stocked with snacks, coffee and regularly catered meals. The office is walking distance from Downtown Encinitas, the Coaster train stop, and tons of restaurants, bars, and activities on the 101.
