Head of Grammarly for Education
Job Description
Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, or Portugal. Conditions permitting, teams will meet in person a few weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly's hubs in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a workspace in KrakĂłw.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Head of Grammarly for Education to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for building a global EDU organization, including Sales and Customer Success with a dotted line over the EDU BDR and EDU Marketing teams. There will be an additional focus on partnering closely with enablement teams to build out onboarding, training and development, career mapping, and sales retention/upsell processes. This is a highly cross-functional position reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer.Â
Your impactAs Head of Grammarly for Education, you will have the opportunity to build an amazing organization and drive the vision and strategy for a growing EDU vertical, ensuring Grammarly has the team and processes in place to reach our long-term growth goals.
In this role you will:
- Create a long-term growth strategy for the global EDU organization.
- Build out the operating motion, metrics, processes, and results for the growing EDU function.
- Establish strong cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, etc.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy with an understanding of buyer personas and segmentation.
- Build an open, collaborative, high-listening organization.
- Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
- Is able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub where the team is based.
- Has a strong understanding of the education industry and buying motion.
- Has deep experience working in high-growth start-up environments.
- Has a track record of building high-performing teams, supported by best-in-class processes, and bringing analytics and best practices to the management of the practice to unlock scale.
- Has a passion for coaching and mentorship with experience in performance management.
- Has experience selling into complex markets and building out go-to-market strategies.

- For North America–based employment: Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, meaning pay may vary depending on your location. Our US and Canada locations are categorized into compensation zones based on each geographic region’s cost of labor index. Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our compensation packages include equity; a wide range of medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance options; retirement benefits; and parental leave. We offer twenty days of paid time off per year (global), eleven days of paid holidays per year (US and Canada), and unlimited sick days (global).Â
Grammarly team members in this role must be based in California, Colorado, Texas, Atlanta, GA, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, or Toronto.
The expected “On Target Earnings” (OTE) for this role are outlined below and may be modified in the future.Â

It is expected that this will be a requirement for this role.
