Head of Growth
Job Description
Topaz Labs produces AI imaging technology that helps over 1 million paying customers (including teams at Apple, Netflix, and NASA) maximize the visual quality of over 1 billion photos and videos. We are profitable and growing fast, with strong product-market fit and a vast market in front of us.
As Head of Growth, you will own and manage internal and external teams that manage paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing, paid social, as well as other growth channels. In this role, you'll effectively manage our paid ads budget and work with the Brand and Marketing lead to maximize ROAS and customers acquisition. You'll also be an expert in A/B testing different approaches, and help us maximize our paid search.
What you'll do
- Identify strategies to optimize user growth through social ads, paid search and other channels
- Optimize advertising budgets to achieve ROAS goals
- Build creative and effective keyword and search advertising campaigns
- Implement conversion strategies and improve marketing results
- Research and analyze competitors and identify new promotion opportunities
- Coordinate external advertising agency activities when needed
- Test new marketing tools, new ideas, new solutions
- Manage internal and external marketing teams
About you
- 7+years of experience in conducting online search and keyword marketing campaigns, ideally managing teams and / or agencies spending 100k+ per month
- Ability to analyzing marketing data (e.g., Google Analytics, Rockerbox)
- Ability to manage advertising budgets and optimize non-brand keyword campaigns
- Strong understanding of advertising platforms such as Google Ads/Meta/LinkedIn
- Analytical thinking and ability to test and iterate
- Creativity and ability to create effective advertising content
- Awareness of trends and innovations in SEM marketing
- Readiness for continuous improvement and professional development
- Ability to conduct competitive analysis
- Experience in e-commerce is a a plus
- Experience in photography or videography is a plus (but not required)
This is a unique role for the right person to apply their marketing leadership to accelerate an already high-growth company. We offer strong base salary plus significant ownership that scales with the company's growth. We also offer 100% covered medical/dental/vision for employees, 15 days annual PTO plus holidays, and 401k matching. This is a full-time on-site role in Dallas, TX, and we will ask you to relocate if you're not in the area.
