Anomaly is enabling fast, accurate healthcare payments—reducing healthcare costs and complexity.
Over $300B is lost every year to avoidable denials and payment errors, impacting the affordability of healthcare. We’re partnering with the largest healthcare companies, including providers and payers, to build novel technology that reduces friction in healthcare payments. Smart Response uses AI to predict and prevent payment errors before they occur. This solution is powered by our claim prediction engine, which analyzes billions of transactions to predict claim denials and reasons with over 97% precision. Instant Pay (coming soon) will further streamline payments by enabling providers to immediately get paid at claim submission. Founded in 2020, we recently announced $17M in Series A and seed funding led by Redesign Health, RRE, and other top venture investors. Our fast-growing team brings together top engineers and healthcare experts committed to making healthcare more efficient and affordable.
Head of GrowthAs Anomaly’s Head of Growth, you will work closely with the CEO to shape and execute against Anomaly’s end-to-end business development strategy and inform our product roadmap. Â
In the process, you will engage with some of the country’s largest healthcare companies and play a key role in Anomaly’s commercial and product activities.
This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial and strategically-minded person who is looking to play a pivotal role in building a high-growth, mission-driven healthcare business. As a key hire at an early-stage company, you will impact the broader company-building process (product, marketing, etc.).
The role reports to the CEO and is based in NYC, with a relocation stipend available. We are also open to permanently remote candidates.
What you will do:
- Shape and drive the end-to-end consultative business development strategy, including customer segmentation, pricing, channel partnerships, and more
- Be the “Voice of the Customer” and identify the needs of prospective partners and market trends to inform our product strategy, in collaboration with the product team
- Identify and initiate contact with prospective partners and customers, leveraging Anomaly’s network and marketing activities and building your own network, and drive deals from prospect identification to onboarding
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- 8+ years in a business development, growth, product, or strategy role
- Track record of owning and executing complex, consultative deals or successfully building and launching complex healthcare products
- Healthcare industry expertise, preferably working with payers and/or providers
Nice-to-have qualifications
- MBA and/or consulting experience
- '0 to 1' startup experience
- Revenue cycle and/or healthcare payments experience
