About the job

The person in this position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with the Twilio Communications global Sales & SE leadership team, the Product Marketing (PMM) team and peer leaders across RevOps as we continue to transform the organization. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Define and execute our Global GTM enablement strategy focused on enabling our sellers to drive platform adoption and exceed their quotas
  • Educate our sellers on our core products and use cases (Messaging, Verification, Voice, Voice Intelligence, Email and Professional Services)
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to understand their critical needs and pain points, and drive effective adult learning to a sales field of 400+ individuals
  • Partner and collaborate with PMM to ensure our enablement team are SMEs in our respective core product areas and translate our complex products into concise value propositions
  • Develop and cross-functionally influence enablement programs that extend beyond our sellers for corporate-wide strategic programs: like Compliance
  • Establish metrics with your RevOps Analytics peers to measure the effectiveness and productivity impacts of our training. Identify the qualitative and quantitative keys to success for our GTM teams and design ways to measure and track progress over time.

Required:

  • 15+ years of experience in Enterprise B2B Enablement/Training, Product Marketing, or Sales in a high-tech environment.
  • Experience leading, managing, recruiting and building sales enablement teams
  • Deep understanding of enablement best practices, Usage-based business models, Enterprise software sales cycles, sales processes, sales coaching, and sales methodologies
  • Experience with enablement and sales tools, including Salesforce, sales productivity tools, content, and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills with the ability to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
  • Ability to independently manage ambiguity and work collaboratively to drive outcomes and meet deadlines.
  • Work with multiple priorities/deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment across a diverse group of stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize work effectively and have an aptitude for problem-solving with a proven track record of creativity and innovation

Location 

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas. Approximately 10-15% of travel is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $160,000 - $200,000.
  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $190,000 - $211,000.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
