Head of DC Growth Inside Sales, North America

Help Adobe grow its Growth Field Organization by building pipeline and closing transactional deals across Adobe's best, in class Document Cloud. This senior manager role is focused on leading our business development and inside sales group across full-time employees, and partners with core responsibilities of building sales opportunity pipeline, closing transactional deals, managing renewals and aligning closely with marketing to constantly improve lead conversions. Expectations are centered on developing a highly effective outbound sales and renewal strategy, mentoring business/sales development reps to improve their sales skills, drive pipeline, improve conversion rates and work closely with field sales, marketing, and operations to deliver on bold growth goals. Create and lead outbound call strategies against SLA's.

This role works strategically across several organizations including the field sales teams, product success organization, demand generation and marketing organization to ensure consistent opportunity qualification and pipeline development.

What you'll do:

  • Lead your organization to deliver top quality sales pipeline opportunities and to complete sales processes as appropriate.
  • Closely align with 3rd party demand generation to drive strategic direction and alignment on SLA's by lead type
  • Align with marketing demand generation team to ensure system capabilities are streamlined and drive enhancements/efficiencies where required.
  • Partner with Operations team to implement and follow effective processes, and to ensure proper completion of meeting tasks, opportunity creation and pipeline reporting.
  • Responsible for building tight alliances with remote and local sales teams, making modifications to always meeting qualification and lead routing where necessary ensuring meeting quality.
  • Handle reporting overall team results related to Key Performance Indicators as appropriate.
  • Be responsible for the overall monitoring of team(s) to ensure top production performance.
  • Coordinate reporting and communicating to sales management, demand generation, Sales Operations, Quarterly Business Reviews and overall program and team performance.

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years of lead generation and/or sales experience
  • 4+ years of exceptional leadership experienced anchored in employee success
  • Notable ability to perpetually build dedicated teams and exceed team goals.
  • Strong leader who is self-motivated and develops others through coaching.
  • Strong understanding of Business-to-Business customer buying cycles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Understanding of CRM systems (SFDC experience a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, while still driving teams to exceed goals and produce quality sales opportunities.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision.
  • University or College Degree preferred.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,600 -- $297,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
