Job Description

The Head of Institutional Marketing is responsible for driving the Institutional Marketing activities in Americas and for the US platform, Institutional Export plan in Europe and Asia. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of Marketing plans designed to favor Amundi US's Institutional AUM and client base in the US and outside of the US in accordance with the firm's overall business objectives. The role is also responsible for the development and implementation of the US Export Institutional business plan.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing and Product Development, Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of US Domestic Institutional and US Institutional Export Marketing Plans in close collaboration with the Heads of Institutional Sales for Americas (US, LATAM, and Canada) and with the Global Head of Institutional & Corporate Clients Division
  • Nurture, validate and execute marketing strategies to support Institutional sales growth and client retention
  • Proactively engage sales teams to foster greater visibility of U.S. managed investment capabilities, increase sales activity and support client retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate the activities of marketing, investment, and sales teams as they relate to the promotion of Amundi expertise in the US including digital campaigns, roadshows, web-conferences and other events
  • Coordinate the activities of marketing, investment, and sales teams as they relate to the promotion of US investment platform outside of the US
  • Ensure relevancy, quality and availability of a complete suite of impactful training programs, collaterals and any other deliverables to support sales and retention efforts, working closely with other groups within the US and non US marketing teams
  • Coordinate product training efforts for Domestic and export Institutional sales team
  • Follow and provide analysis/action plan from Market flows and trends and from Sales and Marketing analytics
  • Provide systematic updates on activity and feedback to senior management regarding progress as it relates to the agreed upon business plan and achievement of objectives.
  • Collaborate with US and Central marketing teams to support global marketing initiatives and to implement them in the US in accordance with local regulations and standards
  • Liaise with Boston, Dublin, Paris or other Compliance group on marketing materials and activities

Requirements

  • College degree or the equivalent required. Advanced degree and FINRA licenses preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a marketing or sales oriented role focused on distribution of financial services
  • Demonstrated success building and implementing marketing plans designed to grow and diversify assets, revenues, profitability and client base
  • Previous experience in a global group as such as a Fluency in any foreign language is required
  • Previous experience in development and implementation of a US marketing strategy is considered a plus
  • Highly organized, flexible individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to "roll-up their sleeves" in an environment of high volume and diverse activities
  • Position will be best utilized by working from the Boston office, however travel to any US state or international region or country will be expected
