About the role
Reporting to the CFO, the Head of IR will be responsible for developing Roktâs investor relations strategy and driving delivery through the Companyâs IPO and beyond as a public company. You will craft Roktâs investor presentations and partner with bankers/advisors to hone how we position the business. You will cultivate positive relationships and own communication with the investment community, including investors and research analysts. And you will drive Roktâs engagement with the investment community including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, and analyst teach-ins. The ideal candidate is a very strong communicator with excellent analytical and financial skills, established relationships with the investment community in the software industry, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Responsibilities
Pre IPO:
- Partner with bankers, advisors, and internal stakeholders to craft Roktâs investor facing presentations and narratives. Continuously refine to reflect market feedback.
- Create and maintain a target investor / research analyst engagement plan.
- Plan and execute key investor-facing activities including non-deal roadshows, analyst teach-ins, and other investor meetings. Build trusted relationships and confidence with investors and research analysts.
- Develop and maintain strong company and sector expertise, including managing coverage of comparable companies, benchmarking, and peer earnings reviews.
- Drive the drafting of the business section of the S-1 registration statement.
Post IPO:
- Lead the quarterly earnings process, including preparation of scripts, press releases, and Q&A in close partnership with CEO, CFO, Finance, Legal, and PR teams.
- Develop Roktâs communications strategy and cadence with the investment community educating them on the business and financial story.
- Distill insight from investors, analysts, and exchanges to Roktâs leadership and Board to help shape how the business can drive improved valuation.
- Lead all aspects of the companyâs investor relations website.
- Serve as primary liaison to the investor and analyst community for daily inquiries.
- Lead ongoing investor engagement strategy including conferences and investor days.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience in investor-facing roles in public software / tech companies and/or within the investment community (including buy-side / sell-side / advisory)
- Bachelorâs Degree required, CFA/MBA preferred.
- Sector experience in software, marketing technology, ecommerce, and/or two-sided marketplaces.
- Demonstrated ability to think and communicate strategically. Strong presence, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven history of relationship-building with internal stakeholders and the investment community.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen including an understanding of financial statements, key metrics and valuation conventions in the tech industry.
- Ability to successfully plan, manage and influence peers to execute work streams efficiently across various levels and functions.
- Results-oriented, self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment balancing multiple priorities.
