As the founding member of our IT team reporting to the CTO, you will help design and deliver a world-class corporate IT and Security function.

What You’ll Do
- Setup processes and tools to ensure authentication/authorization to SaaS products is up-to-date and secure, i.e. ensure no orphaned accounts anywhere
- Manage a team of outsourced IT professionals (Electric IT) to deliver solid helpdesk and procurement services
- Design and implement IT best practices along with necessary tooling
- Identify roadmap for IT Security platforms/service providers - run evaluations, negotiate and close contracts
- Assist with on/off-boarding new hires, including hardware deployment and administering certain SaaS products
- Support local and remote office IT networks including wifi, networking, AV systems, zoom room equipment, etc.
- Support live and streaming all-hands events as needed
- Help maintain local inventory of equipment, hardware, software, and supplies
Who You Are
- 6+ years of experience in an IT and information security role, with 4+ years in a lead or manager role
- Experience with small technology companies navigating the complex security and privacy landscape with limited resources
- Familiarity with common information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, CCPA, GDPR, NIST-CSF etc
- A strong technical background in order to recommend solutions and collaborate with our engineering teams, including experience managing cybersecurity for cloud-based software platforms such as AWS and other 3rd party SaaS vendors
- Strong communication skills, able to convey complex security topics and choices to audiences without a security and privacy background
- You have hands on experience testing the security of software products
- Demonstrated success developing security programs and policies
- You can build and integrate tools on your own
- Knowledge of shell scripting and linux environments is a plus
- Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs
 For CA based applicants:
- The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $220,000
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
