Head of IT & Security

• 6+ years of experience in an IT and information security role, with 4+ years in a lead or manager role
• Experience with small technology companies navigating the complex security and privacy landscape with limited resources
• Familiarity with common information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, CCPA, GDPR, NIST-CSF etc
• A strong technical background in order to recommend solutions and collaborate with our engineering teams, including experience managing cybersecurity for cloud-based software platforms such as AWS and other 3rd party SaaS vendors
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex security topics and choices to audiences without a security and privacy background
• You have hands on experience testing the security of software products
• Demonstrated success developing security programs and policies
• You can build and integrate tools on your own
• Knowledge of shell scripting and linux environments is a plus
• Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs

 For CA based applicants:

• The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $220,000
• This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location.  Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
