Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Security leader to manage and improve Righway’s security and protection of its data. You will develop an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risk, managing crises and incidents, maintaining continuity of operations, and safeguarding Rightway. You will have a strategic mindset and show thought leadership in the security space and be responsible for C-level and leadership communications across the organization. You will play a critical role in building Rightway’s security and growing a team to support the business needs. Â

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for all facets of information security, working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats and managing large initiatives.
- Oversee third party risk management from a security perspective, as well as standard security programs such as vulnerability management, incident management, data protection, logging and monitoring.
- Act as audit liaison and ensure Rightway remains compliant with SOC2 using the HITRUST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
- Partner with legal, Information Technology, Product Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Implementation teams to create and support a security culture through education and awareness programs designed to reduce the risks to the enterprise while also engaging key business leaders to ensure business unit involvement.
- Lead IT team, providing guidance and demonstrating best practices.
WHO YOU ARE:Â
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information and Cyber Security, including experience with cloud computing (AWS) and regulated environments such as HIPAA
- 3+ years experience managing remote teams of security and IT professionals, as well as oversight of a third party Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, testing and auditing.
- Proactive, a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal direction and ensure a high level of customer-service, delivery and responsiveness.
EXTRA CREDIT:Â
- Experience in a high-growth environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.Â
- Public Cloud (AWS, and Aptible a plus) and SAAS knowledge.
