Head of MANA Marketing and Communications

Ericsson is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Marketing and Communications, leading external and internal communications across Market Area North America. Reporting directly to the CEO of North America, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing Ericsson's organization's strategic marketing initiatives, communication strategies, portfolio choices, capital and resource allocations, and new business development.

This role will be a member of the MANA Executive Leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Market Area North America and is based in Plano, Texas

What you will do - • Articulate a clear, compelling vision of Ericsson that will help position the company appropriately in the marketplace and bolster internal and external messaging• Act as a strategic advisor to the Head of Market Area North America and the rest of Leadership Team in all Marketing & Communications topics• Effectively develop, lead, and empower a marketing team to promote key initiatives, customers win, product innovations, social impact programs through the creation of engaging materials such as (press releases, thought leadership, blogs etc.)• Lead External and Internal Marketing Communications for MA North America ensuring adequate support for events/initiatives (launches, advertising campaigns)• Gain the trust and confidence of the company's stakeholders and demonstrate leadership values and integrity• Partner with Global Marketing function to influence other regions• Oversee customer acquisition and retention management methodologies and systems• Lead by example by embedding Ericsson on the Move's focus areas within organization

To be successful in the role you should have -

Marketing and Communication: • Expertise in supporting a complex technology business through marketing efforts and collaborating with key functions (sales, product development, and services) • Proven ability to develop a clear and compelling vision and strategy enhancing awareness, recognition, differentiation, and competitive advantage• Experience analyzing customer and competitor behavior and translating this knowledge into developing and implementing an aggressive marketing strategy including experience setting and meeting key milestones and communicating these throughout the marketplace and the organization• Ability to align employees with the company vision and value proposition• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with all stakeholders to achieve necessary buy-in, keep people informed, and execute a plan• Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms

Leadership: • Significant experience as a senior leader of complex global organizations in a multi-stakeholder environment• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; solutions-oriented; able to balance short and long-term priorities. (strategic thinking)• Consistently delivering superior business results• Successful change leader, open to new ideas, accepts challenges and leads with curiosity and optimism; considers culture.• Engages and motivates employees, develop and secure talent; known for building high performing teams.• Superior communication skills• Demonstrate key leadership capabilities: Customer Focus, Master Strategy, Excelling Execution, Embracing Change, Courageous Leadership

Minimum experience and education requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline required. MBA or other master's degree preferred• A management background with at least 10 years preferably in Strategy, Marketing, or a similar related area• Ability to travel more than 25%
