What you get to do:Â
Reporting directly to our Chief Strategy Officer - General Manager of OppFi, you'll drive the integrated marketing strategy for growth efforts across all channels, including affiliate, partnerships, direct mail, SEO, SEM, email, social media, display, and referral programs. As the leader and head of the overall marketing function, you'll lead a team of 14 marketers to develop long-range marketing plans for the company, while translating the overall strategy into tactical plans to achieve the company's annual and quarterly goals and objectives. The primary objective of this role is to drive measurable and scalable results through digital and traditional marketing channels while maintaining a strong focus on return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs).Â
- Marketing Growth Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders/teams in Product, Operations, Credit Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure the integration of marketing initiatives into the broader business growth plans.
- Forecast-Budget Management: Build, maintain, and manage to a detailed loan originations forecast. Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively across various channels and campaigns to achieve forecast at maximum ROI. Track and report on performance metrics on a weekly basis, ensuring forecast and budget adherence and driving cost-efficient campaigns.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and inspire a team of 14 marketers. Set clear goals, create structure, ensure proper prioritization, provide feedback and guidance, and empower team members to achieve their full potential. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Data-Driven Approach: Utilize data analysis, market insights, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and enhance marketing efforts. Implement testing and optimization strategies to continuously improve campaign performance. Develop a multi-touch attribution model to better connect marketing spend to business performance.
- Acquisition Marketing: Develop and execute a multi-channel acquisition marketing strategy that maximizes profitable acquisition of new customers across all channels including affiliate, partnerships, direct mail, SEO, SEM, email, social media, display, and referral programs. Identify and test new marketing channels or initiatives to accelerate profitable growth.Â
- Partnership Management: Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing capabilities and leverage their expertise for campaign success.performance and meet or exceed KPIs.
- Lifecycle Marketing: Define and implement lifecycle customer email communications that guide our customers in a consistent tone and voice throughout their journey with our products from the day they apply to the day they pay off their loan.
- Executive Presence: Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to define and drive our core business marketing growth strategy. Present regularly to the CEO, SLT and BOD.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- You have 12+ years of experience in consumer fintech or financial services marketing leadership roles, ideally in consumer lending.
- You have 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team.Â
- You have experience developing and deploying strategies that drive product awareness, consideration, conversion, and advocacy and have managed multiple marketing channels including affiliate/display, partnerships, direct mail, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and referral programs.
- You are an inspirational marketing leader who excels at developing top talent and out-performing the ambitious goals you set for your team.
- You are analytical and data-driven in your approach to building and optimizing marketing strategies, campaigns and initiatives.Â
- You're a collaborator at heart and easily influence decisions at senior levels.

Job Level: Vice PresidentÂ
The minimum salary for this role is $220,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
