Head of Marketing

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and execute EquityZen’s marketing strategy including brand marketing, product marketing, performance/growth marketing, content, and communications
• Build out the Marketing team, starting with providing management and leadership for a performance marketer, and then developing and executing a hiring plan to grow the team
• Own our marketing KPIs and budget, using data to track marketing performance and generate insights to grow the business and improve our client experience and unit economics
• Collaborate with Revenue and Product teams to define, manage, and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing offerings
• Work with internal Legal function to ensure a compliant marketing operation

THE RIGHT STUFF

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 10+ years’ experience in marketing, including experience in brand, product marketing, performance marketing, content, and communications
• Experience in financial services or fintech; bonus points if your experience is in alternative investments, personal finance, retail investing & secondary markets, asset management, or capital markets
• Proven success executing strategic, integrated marketing campaigns across various audiences and channels to drive customer awareness, acquisition, and engagement
• Collaborative approach in working with Revenue teams (sales, operations, & business development) to develop & execute compelling marketing campaigns
• Experience partnering with Product teams to improve customer conversion and retention 
• Data-driven mentality with the ability to analyze data across various mediums and extract insights to improve our marketing initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to craft and manage marketing budgets
• Experience being a people manager, including hiring and training new talent
