Job Description
The Marketing Effectiveness Head is responsible for implementing the analytic, measurement, and reporting capabilities that will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Marketing function. This role involves collaborating with Marketing and Lead Generation stakeholders to support informed decision-making across the end-to-end campaign development and execution workflows. Leveraging data, insights, and Marketing Technology (MarTech) capabilities, the Head will assist stakeholders in developing campaign strategies, creating audience segments, establishing measurement frameworks, and optimizing ongoing campaign performance. The role will also be responsible for developing dashboards and offline reporting that inform and educate stakeholders on the function's performance. Additionally, the Head will provide operational support to facilitate the campaign execution workflow and collaborate with colleagues in building the analytics roadmap.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Marketing analytics with a proven track record in assisting teams establish measurement frameworks, facilitate experimental design, conduct attribution modeling, and spearhead personalized Marketing. The Head will report to the Global Head of Marketing Analytics and Decision Sciences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Campaign Strategy Development: Utilize data-driven intelligence and insights to assist Segment Marketing and Lead Generation stakeholders in planning and developing effective campaigns. This includes:
- Identifying target audience segments.
- Offering insights on tactic-level activation strategies to drive campaign performance.
- Encouraging and guiding stakeholders to incorporate experimentation into campaign design.
- Audience Targeting: Utilize contact data base within Eloqua to support Marketers in creating targeted campaign audience segments. Collaborate with Marketing Technology to cleanse database and enrich it with attribute information for effective micro-targeting.
- Measurement Strategy: Establish measurement framework that is customized for campaign type and assesses cross-funnel campaign performance through KPIs and supporting metrics. Recommend and implement algorithms to calculate direct and indirect Marketing contribution towards Gross Sales. Establish ROI frameworks to understand and support Marketing's impact in driving growth.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Configure and analyze data across Marketing data warehouse to generate actionable intelligence and insight for campaign performance measurement and optimization.
- Reporting: Elevate the team's ability to tell concise and impactful narrative of marketing performance via high impact data visualization and user-friendly reports and dashboards.
- Marketing Operations: Assist Marketing and Lead Generation stakeholders design campaigns according to established guidelines and a framework that facilitates performance measurement and optimization at all levels of campaign hierarchy. Ensure tracking parameters are created within the campaign execution workflow to enable performance measurement.
- Feedback & Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of the analytics roadmap by collecting feedback from stakeholders and identifying use cases that enhance data and technology platforms to meet the evolving needs of the function.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on marketing analytics and operations experience, preferably within a B2B organization.
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with business stakeholders, effectively guiding them through the campaign development workflow and delivering valuable insights and capabilities to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Experience in collecting and translating feedback and requirements from business stakeholders into a comprehensive development roadmap.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets using SQL or Python to synthesize actionable intelligence and insight.
- Experience in developing reporting solutions, including self-serve Power BI dashboards, to communicate insight.
- Experience in data storytelling with the ability to convey impactful narratives through user-friendly dashboards and offline reporting.
- Experience in utilizing components (Salesforce, Eloqua, Percolate, Sprinklr, etc.) of the Marketing Technology stack to enable the campaign workflow.
- Experience in utilizing Marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, etc.) in building campaign audiences.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business or quantitative field such as Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
Salary range $150,000.00- $170,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
