We are currently seeking a Head of North America Sales to join the JLL Technologies team.

The Head of North America Sales is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. The role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for JLL. This position is directly responsible for leading sales managers and sales teams and directly responsible for all employees within the JLL Technologies sales organization.

The position will act and think as a global business leader. The role will align the sales team's values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm and commitment towards the business goals. The main responsibilities and expectations include:
What this job involves

As the Head of North America Sales, you will be directly responsible for the sales organization as they go to market with JLLT's entire portfolio of products and services. Additional responsibilities and expectations include:
  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Implements approved distribution strategies.
  • Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
  • Negotiates contracts on behalf of JLL.
  • Collaborates with the Customer Success Team for account management and sales planning strategies.
  • Lead the global strategy that helps enable teams to sell more effectively through delivering the right mix of tools, training, processes and support.
  • Partner with the Proposal Management team to help them improve the delivery of strategic bids; supporting their continued education and overall skill development to grow the team's success over time.
  • Partner closely with the head of JLLT Product Marketing Team to analyze the competitive landscape and a develop a strategy to deliver updated and new sales materials to the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with your team leaders and global sales leaders to develop and execute ongoing training programs focused on the JLLT products and services best aligned to the Americas market; additionally, support the creation of a catalogue of training focused on improving sales skills and sales tool adoption.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Revenue Operations to analyze sales performance metrics and identify ways to improve cross-selling across the sales organization.

Education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant/professional experience in similar roles, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Consulting or Client Account Management.
  • Experience working in Corporate Real Estate, Technology or Software industries is a plus.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and motivate others on a team and help them succeed.
  • High attention to detail and very organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Results driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM platform), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Capacity to conceptualize as well as operationalize commercial strategies.
  • Ability to efficiently interact with company senior leaders.
  • Superior organizational awareness.
  • Experienced at managing diverse and geographically remote teams.
