Head of Operations, VP

Right now, we are looking for a Head of Operations who understands the vital role the Operations Team plays in ensuring our clients have an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for the Operations Department as well as manage the bank's core system. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Oversee four operations teams including Deposits, Business Implementation & QC, Fraud and Core Systems
• Core System (FIS) bank contact; head up monthly meetings with FIS customer service rep, negotiate system purchases and upgrades, approve all projects, manage FIS bulletins, escalation point for any critical FIS issues, attend user group meetings
• Manage other critical vendors such as cash vendors
• Manage and create bank disclosures and forms
• Manage operational policies
• Annual risk assessments and vendor reviews, including FIS annual SOC review
• Department and FIS budget management
• Lead for operational audits
• Participation in other department audits such as IT
• Management reporting, metrics
• Head up annual FIS DR testing
• Operations BCP management
• Backup Team Leads
• Perform any other duties as requested

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of ten years’ operational experience
• Solid background in bank operations, including retail, back office, cash management and fraud
• Excellent communication skills, knowledge of word and excel applications
• College degree preferred and/or similar work experience within the banking industry
