About This Role

This role is NYC-based, but we will consider remote applicants. Requires regular domestic travel.

Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65. And yet, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. At Sage we've built a more modern way of understanding when older adults need help, including methods for residents to alert caregivers when in need of help, and corresponding software for caregivers to triage response.

Our company is actively searching for a Head Of Partnerships leader to work with our existing and future partners. The Head Of Partnerships role will be critical in helping us expand our presence amongst our existing portfolio of senior living clients and convert new opportunities. The goal of this role is to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with executives across Senior Living Operators, REITs, and Private Equity. Our company mission is to enable modern aging and this role will help us partner with like-minded organizations to realize that mission. 

This position will require spending time in-person with our partners, overseeing our partnerships from initial pitch to contract signing and expansion across all partner facilities. 

Responsibilities
  • Build strong partner relationships with leadership across the senior living industry 
  • Help evaluate what prospective partners are looking for in our solution and adapt our materials to support contract conversions
  • Build processes and protocol around our pipeline from who we target, what we target them with, and the steps to contract 
  • Work closely with our advisors to generate engagement amongst their network and help us bring on new advisors who are influential in the senior living industry 
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities to help us scale whether its partnerships with REITs, private equity, group purchasing organizations
  • Work closely with our product and engineering teams to make sure that what we're selling and what appeals to our prospective partners aligns with our road map 
  • Support our implementation and client success teams by resolving issues that need input from leadership at our partners 
  • Utilize our data to tell impactful stories to leadership at our current partners to help demonstrate our impact in areas that are top of mind to them (ex: safety, ROI, length of stay, resident and caregiver satisfaction)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least five years of work experience in business development 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for Sage's mission to enable modern aging for older adults and their caregivers
  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare enterprises 
  • Self-starter with ability to create processes from scratch such as commercial infrastructure to enable growth at existing partners and new contracts 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with private equity, REITs, senior living operators
