BitGo is the leader in digital asset financial services, providing institutional investors with liquidity, custody, and security solutions. BitGo processes approximately 20% of all global Bitcoin transactions, and supports over 600 coins and tokens. BitGo provides the security and operational backbone for more than 1500 institutional clients in 50 countries, including many regulated entities and the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges and platforms.  BitGo is backed by Goldman Sachs, Craft Ventures, Digital Currency Group, DRW, Galaxy Digital Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Valor Equity Partners.

BitGo is currently looking to expand our team by hiring a Head of Partnerships. This role is a great opportunity for a seasoned partnerships/business development leader to come on board and help bolster our institutional product offerings. The Head of Partnerships role will be a senior member of the BitGo organization and will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with a variety of organizations. Reporting directly to our Managing Director, Head of Prime Brokerage and US Institutional Sales, this individual will also work closely with our Head of Venture Capital and Coins, Head of Go Network, COO, Head of Product, General Counsel and other senior staff at BitGo. This role will ideally be located in New York but is also open to applicants across the US. 
Responsibilities

  • Lead BitGo in developing partnership opportunities that will enhance our firm’s network and generate increased balances and revenues
  • Great communication skills that can be leveraged to build strong partnerships across front/back office systems, law firms, consultants, agencies, admins, banks, FinTechs, and TradFi financing systems, etc
  • Ability to assist scaling our Capital Introductions offering across allocators, asset managers, venture capital firms, and early stage projects
  • Serve as primary point of contact to revenue- and non-revenue generating partners globally including commercial and contract negotiations, revenue attribution and collection

Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships or business development across digital assets, financial services and FinTech
  • Established network and enthusiasm for the digital asset industry, along with curiosity of new concepts such as new protocols and tokens, staking, NFTs, institutional market structure, credit etc.
  • Excellent communicator with both external contacts and internal team members
  • Leadership experience (e.g. managing a team)
  • Agility and appetite for learning new products/technology in a fast-developing environment
  • Experience with contracts, negotiations and CRM Tools such as Salesforce
